Default PayPal withdrawing error - Support lying

I had 2 confirmed bank accounts, 1 confirmed debit card and 1 confirmed mobile phone number linked to my business Canadian account. I've had over 130 small transactions on eBay with the account.

Some scammer threatened to file a chargeback so I deleted both banks, deleted the credit card, deleted the phone number and changed my address so the debt collectors wouldn't be able to find me if I don't pay the debt.

I got it resolved and the scammer didn't file a chargeback but since then I'm only having problems. I couldn't add back my bank account, I had to have paypal support do it over the phone.

Now that I added everything back when I try withdrawing I get this error

"There's a problem.

We're sorry, we need more information. Please contact Customer Service for assistance."

I called Paypal and the agent told me she "refreshed the system" and it will work within 24-48 hours "guaranteed". Obviously as I was expecting it still gives me the error!

What can I do?

Don't you know that PayPal keeps EVERYTHING forever, even if you delete it? In fact, PayPal reps can see any old information on your account that has been previously removed by you.

Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there.

The one big mistake you made was messing with your account info before you requested that withdrawal. By doing so, it's going to complicate things.

Ok so if the bank withdrawal doesn't work, try multiple times until you get a CS that is willing to do a manual withdrawal for you.

Learn to read, he clearly indicated that this did not work when he stated "Obviously as I was expecting it still gives me the error!".

Paypal save all details in own system. Even if you change phone number, street address they saved all your old info. Paypal can provide all details to debt agency. Old phone, new phone, old address, new address. Your account now under red flag. You have only one solution now. Call to paypal support and ask to add your bank account manually. If you don't want to call try to add your bank every 72 hours not 48 hours.

It's funny how the rep told you to wait 1-2 days and try again, just like Aspkin forum members always say.

Dip****. He very clearly states that, as expected, it did not work.

Are you going to conveniently ignore that part of the post just for the sake of it?

Then don't tell me to go back under my rock just because you felt that you had to defend your honour or something.

I get the feeling that their back end system is flagging your account as suspicious thus all the errors you are facing now.

Would you be able to ask the rep to re verify and reconfirm your VCC and Bank like when you just started making the account?
