PP limited, eBay is fine, Can I create pp acct in new country?

Hi All,

I came this forum with desperation. I bought from ebay to dropship. i purchased from a few different sellers. i checked rating. But later found out i was scammed like 50+ transactions+some big orders never delivered. The item is like $50+ to 70+/item. Sellers sold the stolen items. I returned in ebay or disputed in pp for transactions after return period. Naturally, I fight back to get my money back. I won all pp claims. but later pp just limited my account out of blue saying i have higher than normal return. I explained to pp I had business pp account and i purchased a lot of items and got scammed but they said i m risk to them. I also sell in ebay n my ebay seller accts r good standing. so my ebay stores are limbo as no pp.

I want to know if i can create a new pp acct in a new country as I recently moved. PP knows that I am in new country as I contacted them with overseas number. pp staff asked if I have pp acct in new country. I said no as I haven't.

1. Can I create new pp account in new country using my passport?
2. Will pp link my new account in 1 with limited acct in old country?
3. I have a friend who can let me use her pp account for my ebay stores, should i link to my ebay stores?
4. Will pp detect based on my ebay stores and block my friend acct?
5. Should i create new ebay stores and link to new pp account and rebuild the selling limit?

Your advice is highly appreciated. I am just a stay at home mum trying to make a small income while taking care of my baby. I do honest buying and selling. But I wasn't protected by either ebay or pp when this happened. Thanks for your time. Sorry for long post!

1. Can I create new pp account in new country using my passport?
Yes, but it will very quickly be linked to your old Paypal account. Once it's linked to your old Paypal account the same limitation your old account has will be applied to the new account also.

2. Will pp link my new account in 1 with limited acct in old country?
Yes, almost instantly.

3. I have a friend who can let me use her pp account for my ebay stores, should i link to my ebay stores?
Under no circumstances should you do that. If you link your friend's PP account to your current eBay account, your friends Paypal account would be linked to your limited Paypal account and it would be limited also. This is the same concept as creating a new PP for yourself and linking it to your old eBay. You can never link another Paypal account to your old eBay account without a very high risk of the new PP being linked and limited.

4. Will pp detect based on my ebay stores and block my friend acct?
Yes, very quickly. As soon as Paypal sees that you've linked a new PP account to an eBay store that already had a Paypal account linked to it, the new PP account will be limited.

5. Should i create new ebay stores and link to new pp account and rebuild the selling limit?
Yes. This is the only safe way for you to proceed with your ecommerce business.

To summarize : You will 100% for sure have to start fresh with new eBay/PP accounts. You will never be able to successfully attach a new Paypal to your old eBay. (actually you would be able to, but the new account would be linked/limited very quickly and you would end up with whatever funds that are in the new PP account being held for 180 days).

I highly recommend you read that first before you do anything else.

Hi All,

Thanks for your advice. I had purchased and read the guide a few times. I have a few questions before I can setup. I am now in Australia. I was from Singapore and stealth accounts will be in Singapore.

1. How can I have SG based IP?
Should I use VPN or VPS?
If I use VPN or VPS, how can I have more than 1 stealth account with different IP? Do I create individual VPM or buy different IP additionally? I am looking economical approach. I wanted to create like 2 accounts or may be more in future.
2. Can I use new credit card but under my name?
3. Can I use new bank account but under my name?
4. Can I create new ebay INDIVIDUAL account with new office address? or must it be residential address?

I also have another question regarding my old ebay account which is still fine. I have 4 ebay accounts under my identity. I built for less than 6 months.
Can I use any other payment method to continue these stores? If yes, how?
Or should I just forget about them?

Yes you can use other payment channels on your old accounts.

1) VPN, yes. 1 VPN per account so you don't share IP's between accounts
2) Yes
3) Yes
4) It depends. If you don't have to put a Tax ID or any other identifying information that was on your old account, then yes you can make a new account with your name + a new address.

BTW - I ve tested it and tried with 3 accounts, where ppal was limited - ebay fine, I did not link new paypal to ebay ,but just added it to receive funds from buyers (you can do it when starting a listing in ebay...) and ebay selling fees were paid via VCC, 2 accounts got limited, but one is still alive till today, 4 months have been passed, and withdrawing money twice a week from it, 1k+ weekly... So its all about luck but yes probably you will get limited
