prepaid debit card to verify paypal?

im a newbie here and having a question. If i buy a prepaid VISA debit card, can I use it to verify my paypal account? i dont know if i will get a bank account number, routing number with that debit card or not.

Hi, I have not decided yet but looking around the prepaid cards in Australia. Or I may use VCARD. but they do not allow you to withdraw money to these prepaid cards right? so I may just use it to verify my paypal and use paymate or direct deposit for payments from ebay then?
