So with Paypal, is the limit that we should not have over 500 in a new account, or actually take in over 500/month?

What you can take depends on the account.

Older accounts with more trading history can easily take $1000's a week

Yes the account is only three weeks old. That's why I am asking, I am about to hit my 500 mark in sales, and just wanted to verify when they will start limiting.

Are you asking about the $500 limit that occurs if the account is not verified?

September 8th I purchased an account on here (80 days of age at the time).

Waited a week before selling, then started selling about one or two items per week.
All was going well.

Then I had a client in real life who (for a legit service) could pay me $715 only with a company Amex card, or PP. I was reluctant to offer my newish PP account which hadn't seen any transactions >$100. But finally I sent her the request.

She sent the money. There it was in my PP. All was well.
I transferred half of it to my bank account. Got the very common "this looks suspect" message, but after many days, I saw the money in my bank account.

The next day, limited. "We need your photo ID, supplier info, tracking info, fingernail clippings, stool sample, etc."

This PP account was about 110 days old, and became active (transactions) for about 40 days. Pretty sure it was the $700 (legit) transaction that got it limited.

I'm now gonna try to figure out how to accept credit cards (clueless about it).

Anyone reading this, learn.
Don't receive large amounts of money on a PP account unless it's 6 months old (I guess?) and has several months of transactions.

P.S. I can't believe you've had nearly 500 sales in three weeks, let alone on a new account.

I guess that's what I am talking about... my account I believe is verified with bank. But this is my first time doing it... so... that's why I don't know.
