Confirming ssn + dob to access funds

So on my original PP acct ive had for almost 7yrs i got that message to confirm last 4 of ssn and dob to be able to use funds for purchasing...

i went ahead and did it and then afterward it asked me to also send in photo id and photo of ssn card.... no big deal but is this normal? does it always ask you to send in docs after confirming your ssn/dob?

I havent had them ask for ID or any docs after submitting my last four. Did they limit and request that info?

no account is not limited.
i just cant use funds to buy... ONLY transfer to bank...

did you submit last 4 of ssn to be able to use your pp funds or was it another type of limit?

Yeah I just got one of those on the only paypal I had that allowed me to purchase stuff, so no more purchases on ebay for me. I can still sell and transfer to bank.

Yes I submitted and was able to use funds. Did you send in the documentation?

Actually you still can use it to buy on ebay. Just use the bank account as the source of funding. Since the incoming funds go straight to the bank account theres little difference in the way things will be done.
