Strange Paypal Activity.

A few months back, I had the dreaded 1099 request that of course was rejected and did not match. I tried to submit several time with no luck of acceptance, as they rejected it twice. I logged back in tonight with a hot spot ip, and to my surprise, no toggled screen requesting documents came up and the default screen looked completely normal. Is this account still good for accepting payments or am I over looking where it says it is limited? I dug through all options and found nothing out of the ordinary.

I don't know. You'll have to try accepting a payment.

Somtimes the account will have a flag like this but not show anything in the notification area, but rest assured you might still have the limitation. You might also be very luck and it auto reset by the system, which happens rarely, but it does happen.

That little "bell" icon in the upper right corner of the screen is not always so accurate.

The PayPal GUI is notorious for being buggy, esp. when displaying open cases. Sometimes they won't properly show up, or will disappear, but can still be seen as "open" on PayPal's side.

Hopefully you just got lucky.

Why not try accepting 1 small payment and see what it does?
