Paypal requires SSN/ITIN, whats next?

Hello! I bought an account here a month ago and do dropshipping on eBay. Paypal recently required SSN/ITIN number in order to proceed to use the account. I am a European citizen and do not have SSN/ITIN or any company or EIN number in the US. Is there any way around it and what exactly should I do next?

I ready read most of the threads on the subject but since I am not a US citizen I don't really get what should I do now. If there is no way to proceed with this account I hope that I will have enough time to withdraw the money before they freeze it.

You need to apply for a ITIN. You can do that from Europe.

Could you explain me how I can take this ITIN ?
Now , I am not able to receive a new orders to my ebay.Paypal stopped this process and I hope that I will be able to withdraw my money when they are un hold.

You're going to have a very hard time with this. If you're able to upgrade the account at all.

It seems like Paypal has been getting sick of non-USA users receiving payments on USA accounts. Applying for and giving Paypal an ITIN is the only option but there's a very high chance they'll ask for more info (ID, proof of address/SSN) if and when you do give an ITIN.
