 Greeting from Middle Kingdom
Greeting!
I am from China, land of Communist Capitalism and relentless work ethic.
Recently I got invited for a "peek and chat" to a ecommerce company in my city. What I saw is really an eye-opener. More than one hundreds persons sales department occupying a whole floor in a posh office building each employee operate different accounts on various auction platforms, eBay, Amazon, Aliexpress, etc. You name it, they got it. Some of the eBay accounts were registered when eBay was still in its infancy. They also have a few websites bringing in sizable traffic and sales and an "education department" mentoring new sellers online. Judging by the Breitling watches a few employees wear, I believe they are treated well financially.
Afterward, I turned on VPN to bypass Great Firewall which is blocking Google, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Netflix, Pornhub, the essence of western civilization. A quick search on Google led me here.
I opened a eBay and Amazon account when I was in college, but didn't put much effort into them. As I have a toddler to feed and put through school, I am looking for ways to make a few extra bucks. Hope to share and learn here!
