Default CCNOW Merchant Account Quick & Easy!

I have had sellers invoice me with CCNOW.com merchant accounts in the past and I was curious to see how it works. It takes credit cards and paypal. The Paypal account is registered with them so there is no linking! I just signed up for $9.99 in less than 5 mins! They asked for no business documents whatsoever. Just an email, address to mail payment, & my name. The only drawback I can see is that they will take 50 cents per transaction + 4.99% of gross sales and they only payout on the 1st and 15th of every month. The first 30days upon the account funds are withheld.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

Sounds kind of interesting to me.
Just wondering if they can tiptoe around regulations the way that PP does though.

wow, sounds like a high risk merchant account..that's exactly how they operate. They pay every 2 weeks but the diffrence is they only hold the first 2 weeks of your money not the first 30 days....that's crazy

It may work nicely if you need your privacy while taking Paypal payments on eBay so you don't get linked. As long as you treat the customers well...you may not have issues...if you are selling crappy stuff or give a hard times for return, then you may have problems anywhere.

Sounds like too much for a payment processor. But I guess they're being safe.

Can Ebay or Paypal detect this?

ebayhateluv will check in later I am sure.

I put in my ebay name at the top and my real info at the bottom because I chose to send payment via direct deposit into my checking. I just added a few extra cents to the handling fee to make up for the 4.99.

I used CCNow in the past for one of my websites. They are decent if you have no other options. But the long delay with payouts is a deal breaker for me when I need the money to pay for things like inventory and advertising.
