I sell digital products and the problem is not that it is a digital product, its the refund rate, opened cases and proof of delivery that cause issues. I have had cases opened against me for "item not received" and there are several reasons 1) the customer's primary email is different from his paypal email and doesn't bother to check his paypal email for the download instructions 2) the customer says never received it. A customer has to access a members area to download the digital products, so they are issued a username and password to access it. I win most disputes when I post the log in info in the paypal case file that the customer opened. The account hasn't been shut down but they do review my account every few years.
