setting up stealth amazon accounts under my name vs. a family member/friend
I'm wondering what the safest / best formats are for creating Amazon Stealth accounts. I intend to launch 3 stealth accts over the coming months, 2 personal and one joint account with a business partner.
For my 1st personal account I plan to create a LLC under my name with my social security number, but since my father has the same name as me (less the suffix) I'm hoping I can submit all documents to Amazon (such as photo id, utility bill, etc.) from him, rather than my own. Is this a safe format? How high is the risk here?
Also, my father lives on the opposite side of the country. I plan to create the LLC in my state. I should also mention the I am a reseller, so I physically receive and prep inventory, then ship to amazon (which would also be shipping out of my state). Could any of this spark a red flag?
Would it be safer to use the name of a friend or family member that is actually different than my own? My additional concern with all of this is the risk of affecting this individuals taxes or gross income. Could my sells on Amazon somehow become accredited to them by the IRS, and is there a way to avoid this?
My joint account will be created entirely with my business partners information. Could this still be a risk of all necessary steps for stealth accounts are followed? Would selling some of the same asins from one or teo brands (competitive items on amz) increase risk greatly?
