Default DNS goes to other coutries

I have this issue. When I log into whoer and check my DNS, it is going to various countries everytime that I refresh the page. 3 of my EB accounts have already went down potentially because of this.

Any help?

P.S. I already set my DNS to google public and it doesn't help. Haven't had this issue before.

You could try Cloudflare's new "secure" DNS..

https://1.1.1.1/

1st. Are you really in the US? Because I've never seen google use a DNS server outside of the US if your ISP is located in the United States.

If your not in the States, Google dns is your issue... Google doesnt have DNS servers in ever country in the EU... So Google would be a poor choice for a DNS server.

Cloudflare is a 2nd best choice ATM in the US. 1st would be running your own DNSsec server. Ie: https://simplednscrypt.org/

For my servers outside the US I use https://public-dns.info/ to find DNS servers in the country I want the DNS results coming from. So if you or your server is not in the US, that's your best bet. I try to look for one that has the same ISP as my server with the highest percent up time.

Perform a DNS leak test and see what information is leaking?

I've been experiencing the same thing at whoer.

Every time I refresh the page, the DNS changes from N/A, to South Africa, to Netherlands, to France, to Brazil, etc. Even for a residential USA proxy.

I uncheck Remote DNS and then the DNS is back in USA where it should be.

I changed my DNS to 8.8.8.8 so it wasn't pointing to my own ISP.
It worked when I checked it on dnsleak.com...reports the ISP as Google.

However, dnsleaktest.com always sees my own ISP.

Checking on

Just try to hide them via Google's DNS or if you're not from US use any kind of VPN and you'll be just fine.

If still its bothering you try disabling Flash and Java they are the key points to make issues for your DNS....

Good luck.
