Ebay only supports PayPal now

Remember when we had a choice to use either a merchant account or Paypal? Well - a lot of the items that I used to list with merchant accounts now has a selling limit UNLESS I have a verified Pay Pal account. I notice that this is happening more and more often.

So, it's really a backdoor way of saying that only Pay Pal is accepted. I mean what's the point of even having merchant accounts if you can't even list your item?

I've had that experience too. I tried to list something a while back and they told me that I had to have a linked paypal account. I basically just opened a buyers account and linked it. The computer seemed satisfied with that.

yeah. I used the same ccard and email to open a new buyers pp. as long as you have something linked, they don't care.

You wouldn't have to do it for long--unless you were selling internationally. After you reach the bin mark, I don't think the link is necessary.

Right now I have 3 PP accounts.
One is verified and I have never had a problem with that one other than from a bitchy buyer (only one in several years and 200+ FB) I issued a refund and the dispute was released immeadiately.
The other 2 PP accounts are not verified. Is there any problem linking these to EB?
I do plan on getting the money out of them by sending payment requests from the verified account and then sending a payment. Is there a problem with that? I think I read once that Aspkin wrote that he does this without incident.
Any comments
