Your post is a little too vague. Are you talking about setting up a new LLC with your old LLC as the responsible party?
If so, you can do it. But the IRS's online application won't let you. You'll have to either use a service like legalzoom or use the IRS's paper application that you mail in.

I suggest getting a good business accountant who understands this sort of thing. Most do not.
I like using accountants from Wyoming or Nevada. It is easy to get a referral or ten from the corporate services. Those accountants often understand our needs.
