Stealth Paypal Accounts will still be able to withdraw money via instant debit card withdrawal after March 29th policy change.

Could a possible solution be to use a debit card transfer for instant withdrawal of stealth accounts? Debit card transactions don’t do name verification, and they will be allowed for withdrawal without an SSN. Any thoughts? Does anyone have experience with this?

Does anyone know which bank debit cards or prepaid cards work for debit card withdrawal?

It's my understanding that prepaid cards don't work, not because of paypal, but because Visa doesn't accept the transaction on prepaid cards. Mastercard does not allow debit card withdrawals at all, even on debit cards from brick and mortar U.S. banks

Interested in possibility of withdrawing with cards as well. If mismatched names aren't an issue would you be able to add a debit card from a bank and change the address to match PP address on account?

Those reloadable cards are all blacklisted by paypal.
Wont work.
You need a REAL debit card associated with a REAL bank account.

So am I right from gathering from the conversation so far that withdrawing to a debit card on my bank account with a mismatched name should work, provided the debit card is a Visa? I can do the instant withdraw on a debit card to my bank like this?

First youll need to add that debit card.
Most of these real debit cards will require you to pass AVS (Address Verification System) so it wont be all that easy to add them.

Slokor is correct.

You can only use a debit card associated and linked to a real bank account. Those prepaid, reloadable, or gift cards will not work.

I've tested this myself in a variety of scenarios using those cards from the store without success.

Once a card is added, does it have to pass the AVS initially and every withdraw/use thereafter or is it just a one time thing?

So if I change the billing address on my BOA debit card to match my PP address on file, and add the debit card, I should be able to withdraw to it even with mismatched names?

I dont think it would work,early days Paypal did publish a list of debit cards which work with instant withdrawal.

does it matter that your debit card billing address is not yours?
