Got this notice
I got this notice:
"To continue sending* or spending money directly from your PayPal balance, please provide us with a bit more info so we can confirm your identity. We do this to help keep your account secure and support regulations that fight money laundering and fraud.
Click Confirm Your Identity, or log in to your account and click the Notifications icon at the top of the page, then follow instructions. You'll only have to do this once. By April 1st, the funds you keep in your PayPal balance will be held in a separate account, which will be opened and linked automatically to your personal PayPal account after you confirm your identity.
It's your choice whether to confirm your identity, but if you don't do so by 3/18/19, you won't be able to spend or send money* from your balance. Instead, you can log in to PayPal whenever you receive money and transfer it to your bank in about a day for free, or in minutes for a fee.**
Any automatic payments you have will continue to be paid from your balance. This includes subscriptions, installment plans, recurring payments, and even occasional purchases from certain merchants."
I never use my paypal to send money to other account or buy items. I only use it to transfer money into my linked US savings account.
Does this mean im all good and do not have to supply them the SSN or tax info?
