So I recently have been trying to add a bank account to my paypal account but it keeps denying me saying error or something to that extent. I thought that maybe something was wrong with that account but upon trying another bank account with another stealth paypal account, I got the same message. Can anyone give me any advice or suggestions about why this may be happening and how I can fix this? I did try the micro deposits. Its also with a major bank that i've used in the past with no issues.

Having the same issue, and saw 5 other people complaining about this. There should be an issue here. I'll wait a day and then I am calling them what is happening.
If you have access to your paypal phone number you must go to paypal chat and you can easy solve your problem. I have same issue many times. Always solved via paypal chat. I'm talking about US paypal accounts only, for other countries chat option not avaliable.

Didn't even know paypal had a chat. Will look into it. Appreciate the info

For me it gave me the error.. Not sure why, will wait a bit

I have several accounts like this and have been waiting since the last week of January, rarely trying to add a bank again. Have called in a few times too and no luck. They told me it's a new security feature.

It never got to the micro deposits. When typing in the ac and routing numbers it wouldn't go through from there.

One account never had a bank account on it. The other account currently has 2 bank accounts on it. None were ever removed.
So they told you its a new security feature? Meaning what, if it won't accept your bank account then you will never be able to add one ever? Seems rather strange.
you cannot add the same bank account or credit card to another Paypal account.
also Paypal does not do business with certain banks.
If you are in US,you must link a US bank

Call paypal and they ask full cc card number, and they ask 24 hours to re-try

They want a Credit card number? That doesn't make sense.
All your info in the paypal are valid? you have a VCC and phone number, email etc?

I rang them about why i cant withdraw balance and they said it was security feature, and they can give me an option to resolve it and then CS asked me to give the info of 16 digits CC (attached on that paypal account, i previous verified that account with CC), they said the info was needed to "unlocked" that security feature
