Amazon associates?

Anyone have tried this and is it pretty good? I signed up and got approved but got a notice stating i need to make 3 sales before they terminate it. If it's worth it I would just make 3 sales from my own self (purchase myself)

If i don't and they terminate i'm guessing you can't get back on again?

Seems this is kind of pressure oriented account have to make a quota always

No point buying from yourself. You can reapply if you don't get the 3 sales. So nothing lost.
I've had limited success with Amazon affiliates. I have a website that has product reviews with links to Amazon products. Probably makes $50 a month from about 1500 monthly unique visitors.

No its not great at all anymore, the commissions are super low

The commissions aren't actually too bad (around 5%) in my category. Considering some businesses operate on a 5-10% profit margin.
It's just very tricky finding a niche that will attract enough visitors to make a decent profit.
