I've been selling on eBay, and making nice money with it, but I heard Amazon is good when you sell with FBA, even without it. Was wondering if it's worth it.

Prime through sellers would be a better alternative. You have full control over your inventory and it is much cheaper.
I heard that Amazon charges 3-4 $ for handling and shipping a 14$ T-Shirt through the FBA program!! I am not sure if that's true, but if it is, that would be predatory.

Hard to say without knowing numbers.
Check FBA fees and etc, take in account your profit margins and you'll see if you can work it out. |

FBA is expensive,it works better if you are a major distributor or manufacturer,AMZN can spread your inventory across the country to expedite shipping and saves you some money on warehousing and inventory management but that service is not free.
There are some discount cd/dvd sellers who use FBA,it must be worthwhile for them

FBA is expensive, theres no doubt about that. But, you get the benefit of the 'prime' badge. As walkingupwards said, Seller Prime may be a better option, don't have experience with it myself.

Depends what you sell. My stuff used to absolutely fly out the door with FBA, get the 'buy box' on an even slightly popular item and you'll sell loads.
Just a shame they banned me, wasn't an enjoyable experience talking with their bots over the 100k of my stock they had lol. Won't be dealing with that company again.

What was the reason behind your suspension?

if they have your stock, all they have to do is pickup one piece and analyse it.
Counterfeit and knockoff are getting out of control on AMZN and Ebay,

I dont see how small sellers can afford FBA,first you have to have enough inventory to be shipped to AMZN,which means you need have enough money to buy them.
then whether you sell o or 999 pieces, you have to pay storage fee, some day when you remaining inventory no longer sell, you still have to pay fee to AMZN,AMZN doe snot have any service t o dispose your remaining inventory like selling them to liquidation buyers/
importers/wholesale distributor./manufacturers would work.
small sellers selling small items are better off using our home or local storage.

always worth trying.
also if you split your sales up over several accounts and spread the risk and volume, it could help keep you under the radar a little.
im also presuming your stock was legit

Give it a try, AZ will be harder than eBay for several reasons, but may be worth the hassle if you're increasing your net revenue.

I’ve been reading posts about amazon banning accounts etc,
What is the reason behind this if you are doing fba?
I’m also looking to get into amazon fba but to get Oem products with my own logo.
Could this work?

The issue right now has a lot to do with the items you're selling
New shop with high risk products = trigger for invoices/other information sometimes
Avoid items heavily sold on alibaba and you should be alright. Build up natural history, before introducing higher risk products

Could this work? | One of the most common causes for suspension currently is inauthenticity complaints.

im also presuming your stock was legit | Yeah they gave the money straight away, not sure why they held the items so long. And yeah, most of it even had authenticity codes on lol.

AMZN has sent out emails concering FBA and state sales tax.
Some states want AMZN to collect sales tax for bubble wrap, labor cost,so all these are going to raise your cost of Using FBA

I guess fba is worth it overall if you dont want to handle Packaging and Post. Amazon take responsibility for delivery and feedback hence they charge for this customer service.
Anyone recommend any good softwares for finding good products and niche?
