Exclamation Is selling digital goods a good start for new account

Hi , I just created a new eBay account and want to sell some digital goods . Is it considered a high risk item and even it is will I still be able to sell it for at least a month following the stealth guide . I see people selling it for months without getting suspended or listing removed , please advise !

I dont see why not, until you eat too many item not received from Paypal and Ebay.
You can also send them a first class envelope with tracking,in case they file item not received,it would cost you $2.86

The only way I’ve made this work long term is to deliver the digital item instantly but also send out a copy of the code/link through the mail with a tracking number.

I also make this clear in my listings

Wouldn't recommend starting with high risk digital goods for sales

You are in USA,so use USPS first class mail ,go to your order and print a shipping label with tracking.
are you really in USA?
It is not 100% proof, your buyer can still claim he received something not as described, and you have to send him a shipping label to return the item, which would cost you postage.
so instead of making money, you could lose money

I am selling low cost digital goods with high quantity which has high profit , so shipping Is not an option for me , and I am ok if I lose some of my trans action . Just want to know how long the account will last before getting suspended if I sell such item . At least a month or longer ? And how to avoid getting suspended ?

I am planning on selling game codes and activation codes , has anyone sold these before on the forum and how did you guys maintain your account ? Also do I have to start slowly and increase my selling limit slowly per month basis or can I just increase my selling limit right away as the volume I sell is high and don’t know if I can make it there before eBay suspend me . I am new to this please advise , thank you !

You also have to be careful with buyers and chargebacks

Just don’t put all your eggs in one basket. If you need this as your main income source then I wouldn’t rely on digital sales. You will wake up one morning to a limitation and be screwed.

Always have a backup plan

depends on what you sell, and disputes filed by your buyers.
