Default New Acct banned within hours

After purchasing the guide, wiping my hard drive, getting a number/prepaid card/dba for new name. I went to a starbucks and created an account. Listed 4 items and 2 hours later I failed my first review...WHERE DID I GO WRONG?!

Sorry to hear that. Hard to tell without knowing each step you made.

Was the Starbucks close to the address of your ghost account?. Did you change your Mac?

No I just restored laptop to factory settings.. I figured changing locations would do the trick? I guess not.

Other people have opened and operated their accounts using that IP address at the Starbucks. And since being a new account, bam....you got nailed.

Yes do not use Starbucks, registering on a Fresh IP is simple.

Did you spoof your MAC addresses? If not, and this is the same computer you used before, then Amazon most likely linked the accounts.

Thanks for the tips, I been using libraries instead and I'm successful creating the account but I think my problem is that I list too many items- 5 or 6 items total value of $630 which is close to the total 28 velocity limit ...

Do you guys have any listings strategies that have worked for you?

Some of those limits are actually higher or lower depending on what items you are selling. A friend of mine who I sell items to created an account about 2 weeks ago and has now sold 1400 worth of stuff with no review as of yet. He has yet to get any feedback which is strange as to why they havent put his account under review.

Libraries are just as bad...why not just get your own IP and following ghost principles? Or tips of the forum?

When you make an account the IP is important with Amazon, but after that you can log in from anywhere(apart from banned IP)

If I were to vote I would also say MAC address, you missed an important/critical stealth step. Always spoof MAC address of your connecting devices. Additionally from my personal experience I would say don't use anything too cheap or free when it comes to internet, that's your first line of defense. Invest in a broadband dongle, download Vmware player free :-).

There's lots of money to be made here, so don't half ass it, go 'HAM'. Average cost for stealth account for me is $30.00/ month. The best investment however was Amazon Stealth. To make money you have to spend money, even lose sometimes. Gud luck.

$30 a month is very low for me... Possibly a starter account... Some accounts are worth hundreds a month to manage if they make thousands...

Well gentlemen so far I have two stealth accounts going. One I've made a few sales and the other is un-used for now. Taking it slow, there's too much money to be made to rush.
