ID Verification for New accounts?

Amazon is asking for ID verification for new accounts, Bank Statements, and Address Verification Code.

How do you get past this on a Ghost account?

My original account got suspended many years ago.

So how can I provide them the info if I can't use my actual name?

Also if I create a new backup account, they will ask for ID verification when signing up. So how can I create a backup if I can't use my real name?

Or is it not possible to make Amazon Ghost accounts any more?

Really? I haven't been asked to provide any kind of document upon signing up and I have 2 asins active on my newest account.

all shops require verification upon sign up

If you previously used your info, you would have to go the ghost route to operate multiple additional shops

If all new accounts require verification upon sign up, how can I make a Ghost account if I can't use my real name?

No way to verify a secondary name.

Am i missing something?

Interesting.

When signing up for an Individual Account, the first step they ask for Country of citizenship.

Then they ask you to either enter your Drivers License # or Passport #.

Then in Step 4 they ask you to upload a bank statement, and your Drivers License or Passport.

Not sure why your sign up process is different.

So for my case I am stuck at Step 1.

I made my 1st amazon account and they sent me a code to my address and I verified my account than they did a vedio call with me and check my passport and bank statement on the vedio call also check my face to match they are very strict.

How do we pass this in stealth this would be impossible!

I am also preparing to use video calling as a video. In your opinion, I shouldn't do that.
That is why I need your opinion best so that I can communicate with them in a good way.

Why you post something which is totally wrong ????

If you prove this I give you $1000 reward just make new account and post video here on open forum that your account is verified without asking any documents and I send you $1000

Basically there is no way to make another account, without using real info.

This makes Amazon Ghost 100% obsolete for Amazon.

The suggestion that Amazon do not carry out ID verification when an account is created is ridiculous. IMO it's harder to do in the US than it is in the UK or EU with the more demanding statutory demands and bank account requirements.

So even if, which they don't, Amazon allowed you to create an account and start selling, how do you then plan on keeping the account active and disbursing your monies?

Nearly every other thread on the main Amazon forums relates to account creation, verification and suspension.

To create an Amazon account nowadays you need to be able to provide information and documents which will match the account and handle scrutiny. You need to put a lot of pre-planning into this because it IS going to happen.

Saijin likely talking about an amazon buyer account that doesn't require verification

A few years ago you could make a seller account without having to submit information, so there could be some info miss match going on

No big deal either way - currently an Amazon seller shop regardless of the country of registration will require verification
