Well I screwed it up royally. I usually put random 9 digits on new accounts until my money is ready for disbursement.
This time it actually didn't fail and went into someone's bank account
Is the money gone or can I reverse it by calling the bank or getting some type of authorization..Amazon said they cant do anything.

It's a total ****ing mess.
They give me a TRACE ID, but the bank needs at least an ACH ID and the account number which amazon won't give me and they said they money once deposited into another account, belongs to him now.
so in that logic if i steal all your money from your bank account, im the new owner of your capital? |

Well first of all:

I usually put random 9 digits on new accounts until my money is ready for disbursement.
Thanks KingDog - now I know the source!
Ha no but seriously...this has happened to me once on a different platform.
IT CAN BE REVERSED BUT...1) Was the funds coming in your name exactly? If so, you have a fighting chance - if not...well you would a lot of proof and help from the person who received the money in the account.
@slapped..actually I have not heard much about Az dipping into someone's bank account to TAKE funds ....hmm maybe I am not enlightened on this subject.

What do they mean they can't if its my money... |

Think of that as GONE! you will be lucky if you put in an invalid account number and the money will be returned to amazon in a few days

It's madness Amazon wont disclose the bank account which is listed under my account info
Technically ( MY ACCOUNT) that's all I need to fix it!
Amazon can easily fix this, it's their ancient policy which is the problem.
If you deposit money into the wrong account, you simply file a dispute. That's how banks and merchants have worked for the last 3 decades..
I'm the owner of the transaction and amazon is just the tool I used to deposit it..It's standard banking guidelines.

half a grand.
Amazon says they have no idea where the money is deposited into as they dont have access to where the money goes...their systems don't show where the money is deposited into...
HAHAH
MY GOD!
All the bank needs is the account # where it went and that's it...The TRACEID is useless w/o a bank account number.

Money is gone...
Amazon doesn't know where they deposit it too..
****ing lying *******s crooks. The bank is laughing at this, telling me to file a complaint as they put it "WE've NEVER SEEN SUCH negligence on behalf of a merchant to make a correction"

This is such an amusing problem, why would you even enter a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ bank account, it makes no sense to me.. It seems that amazon is covering their ass here in case the account has been hacked. I think this goes under the heading..."expensive lesson learned".

again it is a security risk from amazons point of view and a legal issue. Don't if there is anything you can do if Amazon does not want to disclose the account number. I do not know of any company that would disclose a Bank Account Number even to the Account Owner.

Enters a different acc # just incase the account does not last the 21 days. Then if it makes it to say 18 days then applies the good account. This is so the good account is not wasted if the account goes down. I get it.

No, I'm still selling on it..Now my next disbursement puts me at an overall balance of ZERO. COOL STORY!! HAHA
What legal issue? The account owner wants his $$ BACK. I don't see how it can be of any legal issue ROFL.
The company represents me, they should be bending over to keep my business and issuing a correction ASAP. The bank is willing to make the dispute easily..They just cant do **** with a TRACE ID.

Am I missing something - why not just not enter any bank account info until you know your account has survived and is ready to disburse THEN enter your bank account? How is this not the sensible approach?

There is no requirement that states you must have a bank account when you open a new account, I wait until I am eligible to disburse then enter one.
