It's pre-paid - it won't allow it. Pre-paid has some restrictions on it and this is one of them. Just make sure you have some funds in your PayPal account, otherwise I've been told Entropay is the the way to go.

Use the credit card number on the card and NOT the banking details such as BSB and Account Number linked to the card.

Does L&G send your name and address on the card to pay pal?

I never withdraw or transfer money from this card to pay pal, I only transfer funds to the card from pay pal with no problem.

I did. I entered the CC number on the front of the card on EB so I can use it to pay fees.

I did it with Stealth #1 and it went through fine (I think). Didn't get the decline transaction. Stealth #2 was declined.

Transfer funds from PP to LG = ok
Transfer funds from LG to PP = declined (i.e. pre-paid restriction)
Paying eB fees using LG = ok

LG does not send your details to PP.

I linked my CC to Ebay to pay fees (using the CC details). L&G definitely declined it. Ebay deducted $1, my account is currently $18.91 (less 9c transaction fee).

I wonder if I'll have problems when I pay Ebay fees with this card?

That's with Stealth #2. Stealth #1 didn't have problems. L&G could see the amounts being debited and credited however it didn't show up online under transactions.

I have paid my eB + Auctiva using LG CCard no problem. Maybe just pay your eB fees with your stealth PP? Takes a few days for LG transactions to show up online, but the balance difference should show up straight away.

Is it possible to load funds from a personal CC to two different L&Go cards under different names? I added funds from my CC to L&Go #1 and there wasn't any problem however I keep getting error messages when I do the same on the L&Go #2.

Yes, I've done it before successfully but now myCCARD company wants you to "call" in to confirm you wish to load credit from your CCARD onto your L&G. It may also depend on who your CCARD company is with.

I find it just easier to load money into it over the counter with cash when I'm posting stuff off at Australia Post office.

I dont want to post too much info here, but PM if you need clarification.
I think I've solved how this works. If this is not able to be publicly posted, is anyone here willing to PM me, and I can run it by you to see if I got how this works?

How are you able to load your L&G using another CC? I wasn't even able to pay for a new L&G at the Post Office using a real credit card, let alone a pre-paid one.

They used to allow me to load my L&G with my CCARD but not anymore (CCARD company wants me to call and confirm etc). I find it easier to just load money into my L&G at Australia Post using CASH.

Hi I am rather new, could I please have the info on the load and go. I have not set up yet - I got an optus sim yesterday but they wanted a phone number before they would let me have a loading card. So need to get the number activated first. Coles and wollies would not let me get a sim without ID. Only post place.(also saw aldi did some sort of $5 sim thing?? no id was asked for from person who bought it)

So ,This is the card I need then ? as I have no idea about these cards or the alternatives available.

With the Aus post load n go cards were you guys able to place your name on the card like a genuine visa card or does it just have the standard "valued card holder" as the name.

Physical Card has the "VALUED CARDHOLDER" printed on it. You can put a name to the card electronically if sign up online.

Thanks LilyPily so when entering my details on paypal. Where it says name on card I do the name associated with the card not "valued cardholder".

I'm probably not supposed to thank you via post but this is such an astounding break through for me THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INFO.

This VISA card is pleasantly unique because it can be reloaded via BSB and account number. This is awesome. This will solve so many of my problems. Thank you kindly.

Anybody else tried to register a new account with one of these in the last week? Used them successfully plenty of times in the past, but now each account I've made this week has gotten limited as soon as I attempt withdrawal.
