entropay and vccs

Evening again

I have set up another entropy account. However I am unable to verify my card. Entropy debit the £1 from my account, and re pay it, but its without the code needed to confirm the card on the website

This has never happened to me before with other entroy accounts.

anyone got any ideas? The support team said that I should call my bank to obtain the code. does this seem right?

are there any other vccs or alternatives available for uk pp use?

I had so much of a problem getting the code via Barclays Bank that I abandoned my attempt to get one of Entropay's vcc as the code just never came through! They told me to ring the bank which I did and got absolutely nowhere

Drop entropay another message. They are usually pretty good as resolving the situation and resend the code.

Calling the bank is another option..I have found that during working hours, bank staff are often too busy to go searching. However most are open till late and sone 24 hours so perhaps a phone call to bank at less busy time will result in a helpful bank worker :-)

ive emailed them twice, they do reply very quickly, but as above my latest reply says phone the bank and ask them for it... will do in the morning, got some bad vibes tho now after reading others posts with same issue

If you are able to...give them a call now. Night staff are great and very helpful and willing to search.
This is just what ive found from experience :-)

3V i believe works for UK also :-)

This is a common problem with entropay.
You need to ask the bank for the Payment Approval code / Authorisation Code.

Once you have this code you have to message entropay and tell them this is the payment approval code for the transaction and you will get the card restriction lifted.

You will need the date the payment came off on the bank statement ready.
When calling the bank You also will need to be transferred to the correct department on the phone, as customer services people will not be able to give you this code.

ive just phoned my c/card issuer and got the 'authorisation code'

to check, this code IS NOT the Verification code to enter on Entro website to Actiavte the VCC?

if not, do I reply to my last email from entropay today and give them this Authorisation Code?

Thought you would. Im glad it worked.Well done.
It was the same with.the.code when verifying bank account. Had a right carry on with that and was told that night staff are much more helpful.

Reply to last email from entropay with the code.
You will get a message back from them to say it was accepted :-)

just got email back from entropay within 5 mins of emailing them the Auth Code

entropay now Verifed.

Who knows, with out that approval code request you may have just been repeatedly calling the bank getting nowhere

I remember one issue with entropay where there was no code, they.resent code. Bank gave me.code but.was the one from the beginning...back and forth it went.

so just logged in my entropay

my card I used to buy the vcc is now verified etc

but my VCC is showing '0000 0000 0000 0000' has start date & exp date, theres no name on it and no 3 digit code

and says 'the card numbers will be visable when I top up??'

I already put the amount of money I wanted on it when I first set it up / opened account??

EDIT....

forget the above, had to put the Instant Funds onto it again using my now verified c/card..

could of sworn I did that at the very start....
