This bull run I think anywhere from 100-300K will be the top

If your average coin is less than 10K per, we will probably never see sub 20K so no point in ever selling those.

Just keep lending BTC if you need to borrow fiat: nexo.io

Never realize a capital gain / pay taxes if you're only borrowing fiat against your BTC and never selling. The interest payments are also tax deductible

Biden can suck it with his increased capital gain taxes

Right now you can earn 8% on defi by lending ETH on a dex, eventually I think it will be even easier/safer to yield interest on holding crypto. Defi is currently too new to trust it with significant money, but give it 1-2 years.

It could, but I have a hard time imagining a bear case scenario for BTC

govs all over the world keep printing money, you can borrow cheap capital at low interest rates, powell keeps telling the public interest rates won't be raised anytime in the future, biden increasing taxes (incentive to hold and never sell).

All this + BTC supply is halved every years and we're 6 months into a typical 12 month+ bull run

Even if it goes to 45k, the amount of people with buy orders at that price will shoot it back up.

20% corrections are normal, the last btc cycle had 9 corrections before it peaked!

It's looking juicy for first time investors. Just to clarify if some one were to buy bitcoin and never sell. Even if the market crashed and it went all the way down from the peak to $10k a bitcoin. If that said person never sells "locks in a trade" and just holds until it goes back up to a profit in a few years time ...

They've lost nothing right ? So then it comes down to only investing money that you have no intention touching for a few years right ?

Yes James, the only real way to lose is by selling.

If you own 1 btc, and the value goes down in $, then you still have 1 btc regardless

I think BTC will bounce shortly and we shall continue the bull run.

Very good buy in opportunity right now IMO (not financial advice)

Thanks for clarifying. On that note a lot of people with savings they have no intention of touching for a few years can easily put money in to bitcoin and forget about it until they hear news of a sharp parabolic rise on mainstream news and only then cash in.

All these experts / trolls playing with peoples emotions is to make them deliberately scared and sell at a loss to drive down the price so the big whales can come in.

It wont pass, a lot of people in congress hold btc so they would oppose the idea.

And even if it does pass, it would take 1-2 years to implement it

I always feel like American tax is excessive.
You pay income tax, then when you spend money, you pay more taxes, it's like double and triple dipping.

ANy ways, I frikkin hate these manipulating whales making people sell so they can buy lower then the price goes up again.
