Was reading the news this morning and it looks like the crazy housing market is starting to show a slow down according to that news.

Once BTC goes back up and has a higher ATH and these baby altcoins follow suit... I'm selling all my alt coins.

I'd say by the next halving at latest.
Earliest if history repeats itself it'll start going back up in no less than 4 months.

I have a hard time imaging anything will reach an ATH in the next few years with several trillion dollars in the USA alone wiped out of the market. I guess it is possible if the the worlds central banks flood the market with tens of trillions of dollars again. It is possible. Just watch the FRED REPO chart. You will know it is happening if that balance sheet starts to go down.

Nate pointed out the market cap numbers. For it to break the ATH, it would take significant capital of many many billions of dollars for that to happen. You would need major whales and institutions to buy in. It CAN happen but doesn't seem to be anytime soon.

I think it would take crypto to have a divorce of the stock market. Same thing for silver and gold. It will need a divorce from spot price, not just a separation like today. It can happen when capital looses all faith in the worlds banks and economy. Right now short term treasuries are the safe haven.

I am not saying anything with facts and zero doubts! I am saying that it would have to take an act of the Federal Reserve and probably a couple other central banks to get to ATH in the foreseeable future.

That might happen. Look at what they did in the past two years.

The moment this chart changes direction, you know they are dumping funds back into the economy.

Gold has been holding pretty strong over the last 1-2 weeks compared to the rest of the market. During the 2008 recession it took ~6 months before gold started exploding.

BTC has been holding decently around 28-30K for the last 1-2 weeks. Considering the timing of the Luna/UST crash, BTC is doing pretty good. Markets were panic selling all the while crypto had a lehman brothers style crash, yet it held around the 30K resistance. Had that never happened we probably wouldn't be around these prices, making BTC look like a better buy/hold than most assets currently tanking.

I think keeping an eye on gold will give us an idea of what BTC will do. There's 2 things that can happen that would make BTC explode - both of which can very likely happen before year end.

1. When markets realize the fed can't control inflation and they pivot to pause/cut rates, BTC will explode & be the fastest horse in the race.

2. When the BTC spot ETF is approved.

If you don't already have BTC before either of those happen you'll probably regret not having more. 30K range is looking like a great time to start DCA if you don't already have some. Only buy what you're willing to lose, but in all honesty BTC is the best asset the world has ever seen. We just might be a little too early in the game so we gotta deal with the volatility

They really are not trying to handle inflation. If they did, the worlds economy gets flushed. They have pretty much lost control.

I basically agree with you. I think BTC is still in the very early days and I feel it is going to attacked more and more by Central banks and governments. Will we see $1,000,000 BTC? I think it is quite possible but how many decades from now is the question?

It would require inflation that we have never seen happen.

since we don't know how long we'll be alive for we should be smarter and just cash out once it hits a certain $ we are happy with then use that money to build a new or current biz that can make $ faster than waiting for BTC.

It will. Lots more bad news coming out in the next months. Hard to say when the bottom will be though. Could be soon but it also could be in 6-8 months as the dust starts settling. DEF, Diesel and fuel prices, unemployment and food costs along with credit freezes around the world is going to cause all sorts of opportunities. Credit freezes, bank failures and unemployment seen impossible to avoid at this point. . I would guess the buying opportunities are just starting now.

Nope.

I dont think it is a good use of my money. Business is always my go to. Im not one to buy something and hope someone else does something to cause it to go up in value.

I will be buying a significant amount of silver in a couple months and I most likely will buy ETH/BTC on the next major dip(Im not trying to time the market either). But right now, I dont see if going up anytime soon so inventory it is. I have more inventory now that I have ever had in my life. Should be a great year for me. My busy season kicks off in 5-6 weeks.
