But it's stealth info, can he just let the police that know that he is just DBA? Or does that even matter.

I don't think that matters much. I'd put time into something like this and not let that go

Well I mean if he's submitting a police report they would then already know.

Agree - calling is not likely to do much since report has to be made, etc.

The smart thing would be to charge it to the game & try to prevent it from happening again. Anything else will most likely cost you more time, effort, and frustration then its worth. But with that said I probably would show up at their front door. But I don't handle my anger well lol. I personally wouldn't involve the police in anything ever. The only thing I cant stand more than eBay and scammers is cops. Those pig *******s are pretty useless when you need them.

I know man, I know. It's all a cash grab. If it doesn't make money for the people on top, it doesn't make sense in America.

What can you do other than trying to make a little $ yourself.

We had an issue with a guy on eBay harassing sellers of a particular item. For over a year and a half this guy would message sellers saying their item was ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and saying he was reporting them to the police and eBay. He would also place orders from the same sellers with no intention of ever paying, just to leave bad reviews!

Little did this guy know that the sellers of these items were messaging each other about this troublemaker, including me. We exchanged information such as his name, address, phone number, etc. gathered from sales history. A group of us then decided to call eBay about this harasser on the same day- His account ended up going NARU (not a registered user) the next day, presumably because of the mass of complaints.

As great as eBay is, there are people who just make your blood boil.

It's possible the scammer would be thrilled to receive a free box of drugs randomly.

Wait, I thought that you can't leave a negative feedback if you don't pay for the item.

And darn, a lot of work to nail one idiot. LIke they said I guess... 1 bad apple ruins the rest.

Always nice seeing competition work together to stop a scammer...that in its self is a amazing act, especially on eBay.

He put up a video showing what happened when the theif took this package. LMAO...
