I get issues all the time it’s business returns etc.
Had an issue with a parcel being seized as it was too heavy and undervalued. But I’m making a lot of money at the moment so can’t complain just need to tidy a few things up and hopefully all will be good |

Steady $20,000 on one account. Many advise against this but I've never seen an issue with it. Ebay once was my main income but not anymore...
Wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for this forum though. Thank you ASPKIN!

I honestly don't know how you guys do it, months i been searching but they've basically already done this and gotten the profitable products listed and taken that market. Obviously Ebay UK will do nothing if you inform them that they're breaking T.O.S by using a false item location but ebay uk is owned by chinese and they're told not to touch chinese sellers, such a shame. The problem is, a normal buyer will see item location UK and some chinese sellers even putting ap icture of uk seller in their pictures even though they're clearly not, but by the time the buyer finds out, it's too late they've already paid and it's delivered, while the genuine uk sellers get no sales. An example is a product i found very profitable last year selling for 21 pounds, now that same product is being sold for 9-10 pounds by chinese pretending to be british, you can't compete with their prices and now since they pretend to be in the UK the shipping is false but ebay uk won't do anything about them. Covid 19, ruining ebay UK for british sellers, the list goes on and on, it's no wonder chinese tourists are hated worldwide, their hearts are rotten.
Anyone genuine uk sellers here who are beating chinese have my praise because it has been an impossible task for me.

Been on this forum longer than most (This isn't my original account), and I make $0.00 per month on eBay as of typing this, but still manage to buy what I want/need.

Good numbers, i have similar numbers except I am bringing in around £700-£800 profit a week with 10 hours of work. Good to see you have a full time income as well, il never understand why some people think that just because they made a consistent income from ebay over a couple months, they think its all ok to drop out of their 9-5.

I add $15-20k to my savings each month. I do a few things off the internet but most income is from e-commerce. I'm in USA selling products sourced from China. Chinese competitors are a non-issue here because while their listing prices are dirt cheap, their items take 30+ days to arrive and Americans don't like to wait that long.
@vm - what worked for me was finding a very specific niche and then embedding myself deep in it, very slowly building my buying power to the point where it is now. Jumping from one trendy phake product to another is not a viable business model, IMO (which is what DHgate flippers generally do). Chinese suppliers will mix in defective units and by the time you sell the lot you're lucky if you break even after returns/refunds. I learned this the hard way a few years ago with "no-no's". They seemed to be very profitable - but they ultimately weren't. While I'd profit $50 per unit sold I would have to issue refunds for 20% of units sold.

I’m staying at my job because it’s easy and I’m already on the tax system so havnt told HMRC about eBay as already paying tax but once I hit the 85k mark which will probably be around 4 months time I will then have to decide if I want to register vat or use another account I have.

I think no matter what you sell you will always have to issue refunds it’s business and can’t please every customer out their.
I have to say the profit margins on the products I sell are ridiculously good range from £30 to £200 profit per item which is why I sell what I sell.

Theres way way too much traffic. The same product can sell at multiple price points. Use different keywords, descriptions and images. Look for suppliers with low competition. You will make sales guaranteed. You dont have to be best to make money...
