Unless Verizon or Samsung R&D departments come rushing over to your home to solve this issue, you have no choice but to return this. The n00b customer service rep sounds like she/he was literally pulling at whatever BS they could search for on Google.
First Edition is right. Also, the reason why I stressed the browser issue is that Chrome causes this exact same issue with the time out/no server response on all of my internet connections.
Coincidentally, I recently trained someone in stea.lth who is using the JetPack and has not brought up any label printing issues. Have you tried using other laptops/desktops as well and making sure they are clear of all cookies, history, flash, etc and then tried to print labels?
