Right on top, It may also be that your account does not show it, it took months before all of my Ebay accounts were showing my account limits when they introduced them, I see you are from across the pond maybe one of our other British members can comment

Default New Limits

Well, I wish I knew! With new ones, I have been able to get 50 /$3500 with a little effort, but I did see a guy on Ebay, with one feedback, (march 12, 2013) and he had what looked like 75 + sales in a few days on one item.. Which I know are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ because of the price.. The item is high risk..Don't know how he managed that.. Even with my 50.3500, If I list about 5-10 items of any one thing, they shut me right down and when I call, they say I must build a track record on that item..

The above description of the one I saw on Ebay, I see these when I look... I have no Idea how they manged that.. Seems like if you are selling electronics or related they will cut you right off after you list a few...

???????????????

I agree WES. I also see new sellers created account one day ago and selling already 100 on electronics category. DVD. How are they doing it? Looks like they don't have limits? Dudes selling 500 a day but account is only few days old or even one day old.

This would be rare and to sell electronics is massive amounts on a new account.

I make several accounts a week for myself and just went to one to confirmed etc and no limits at all.

Will list a piece of junk on it to see if limits pop up but so far nothing at all showing any limits.

This info is only in my experience and they could be wrong.
can somebody else confirm this idea that EB checks the public records on the registered name. before allowing limit increases they check your name and its location in the available public record?
if this is true then from now on my (⊗⊗⊗⊗) cannot have names that don't exist... aspins guide didn't mention to register in stealth for a name that exists in real life...

Yes, of course they check public records, this has always been true...even for real accounts. With stealth, we don't usually encourage people to try and raise limits through the website since it's the only ebay can try to find out who you are. On this forum we tell people to allow their accounts to grow naturally.
If you sell up to your limits, eventually the account will have limits raised.

The guide is a beginners guide and also note that things change, methods change, How ebay operates changes. The guide covers the basics, the forum is here to keep you informed of changes, new methods so you stay 1 or more steps ahead of ebay/paypal.

The Search function is your best friend!

Kasia,

Try logging in ebay then going "My Ebay" if it does not direct you there automatically.

From this page click on "Activity" menu then "Summary"

If you have limits, they will be clearly posted at the top of the newly loaded page. If you dont see any then you have no limits but as other posters have said in this topic, that isn't to say you do have or could have some imposed so take it slow and steady with what you list!

Where has this come from?

Are you searching the forum at all?

Some accounts have no limits but others do.

Agree with the lack of search by the previous poster.

As posted by imjustme and slapped on previous OLD posts, there is really no such thing as NO limits...HIGH limits exist, VERY HIGH ones too
