Default It's time to give up.

eBay Stealth has come to the end. Accounts are constantly being asked to update ID or payout hold for review in 5 days.

It's time to give up and go the other way.

Maybe worth looking at your creation methods if that is happening with all accounts

Ebay are determined to clean up their act. Most of their 'problem' sellers were stealth accounts - I can recall at the beginning of the pandemic one poster was looking for 100 stealth accounts to sell face masks - a real slash and burn set up

That of course is now impossible

You need to think differently and accept the way things are and then start to plot your way through

It is still 'doable' but the costs of doing business are getting higher all the time bbut prices on Ebay are rising.

You need to decide where you fit in the new reality - if at all

I think the opposite, eBay survived successifully thank to stealth. It's new europe fiscal imposition that ask marketplaces to face new comunicatives standard about sellers, that induce eBay to check accs

What? Stealthers aren't even a pimple on ebay's ass when it comes to overall profit.

Pick any single large player in the space, and they will outsell all stealth accounts combined.

I could not agree more

Stealthers who were gaming the system with counterfeit products, stolen goods and scams brought nothing but trouble to Ebays door

Do you seriously think Ebay doesn't read this forum? Do you not think that at least one Ebay employee is a member here? Even bought the stealth guide? Please ...

Ebay have known for years about stealth and contrary to some opinions most stealth accounts bring nothing good to Ebays party

The guy who lost his account to Ebays bull**** is the exception not the rule

Hi James, do you mean accs you created will not be asked to update ID?

that only applies to a limited number of countries run by Adyen

stealth with payoneer is very well possible although ebay registration would need to be in the same country so of course such accounts are gonna be less prestigious than UK/USA

Think for a moment. All people here were already out of eBay since years. Once you finished all your avaiable real identities what was your option? Only give up. So eBay lost a seller and lost his fees

Stealth accs mantained sellers active on the platform bringing money to eBay, otherwise today we were speaking about Amazon only

Yeeaahhh... Not even close. Very small minority of sellers and very small minority of sales. But keep thinking you're important to ebay

LOL - and how valuable do you think stealthers fees are to Ebay?

In Italy about 15 years ago they were still asking for CODICE FISCALE, one day they removed it from registration form..for make an example...

Their behaviour and their "open doors" tell us that they loved stealth accs

Deny stealths, wasn't so difficult if they needed and wanted

Stealth accounts were NEVER important to Ebay. To think that Ebay gained anything extra from stealthers is ludicrous.
Unless a stealth account sold something so unique that nobody else sells (which is never), they're stealth account means nothing to Ebay.
If the stealth account goes away, Ebay customers simply purchase their merchandise from the numerous other sellers selling the same product. Ebay still gets every fee regardless of whether there are 100 sellers selling an item or 10. Customers still buy what they want regardless of how many accounts are selling it.

Lol...probably closer to 99%.
Ebay is gaining popularity among customers again. Fewer RIP-offs and the ability for customers to pay a dozen ways without the need for a PayPal account helps. Promoted listings are up, and Google is sending a lot of customers to Ebay through search engines.
Now if Ebay would just spend a little of the exorbitant amount of profits they're earning for TV, radio and Facebook commercials and ads, we'll all have a blessed Christmas selling season.

I guess it's down to how you define 'stealthers'. Even though the number is relatively tiny the vast majority were scammers - there's a difference between those who are up to no good and those who sought a semi-legitimate second chance.

So genuine stealthers, as defined by this forum for example, are so small as to be truly insignificant. Those 'stealthers' who created accounts by the hundreds to scam, sell codes, or dominate US/UK platforms from Asia are no loss whatsoever to ebay or to other sellers.

Is stealth dead? To many it is and I say good riddance. Is a second chance dead, not at all if you respect your personal information, your account and the wares you sell.

Over the last year or so the number of posts on this forum by Asian burners has almost disappeared, that's got to be a good thing.

Anyway, it is what it is. We need to work with it rather than think dissing ebay on a forum like this will make an iota of difference. MP works well and is here to stay.
