Default MC008 eBay Indefinite Selling Restriction - USER

So there is nothing you can do to get re-en-stated? I've been an ebay member since 1998 with over 1900 positive feedback's

!!! What is the best way to create a new account I have multiple addresses bank accounts emails etc. I am legit they got annoyed I was selling iphone parts like the rest of the 1000's on there.

Not only did they annoy me I have 300 orders. Buyers can't contact me or see their tracking number.

I can't believe a publicly traded company can just shut you down with out working with you first.

Can I login in and out of the accounts on 1 computer or is this a no-no. I need to satisfy all the leftover junk from this banned account but want to start selling again with a new and take iphone parts out of my inventory this time

Dear User (User@ebay.com)

To help keep our website a safer place for buyers and sellers, your account will be restricted from selling indefinitely.

Our decision is based on evidence from our records. We're not comfortable with your selling practices or business model, and we feel they don't help to promote a positive buying and selling environment.

Even though you can't sell on our website, you can still use your account to buy or bid on items. For more information on the basics of buying, please visit:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/basics.html

Please remember that you can't use other accounts or register new accounts to sell on eBay. If you do, your accounts could be limited, restricted, or suspended.

Thanks,

eBay

The question is ...WHY did you get suspended? What did you sell?

Welcome to the forums - all the best as you read around, learn about stealth methodology, and get back on eB.

doesn´t seems like a stealth problem, but some mixup either on your or ebay´s side.

you should contact them first, maybe you can work something out.

Your info is vague.

OK, ebay is vague too. But what had happened to your account?

Negatives, neutrals. chargebacks, low DSRs?

Anything you can place that might have triggered this

Email there CEO or Departments - You can find email addresses for department heads etc on the NET they do listen, forget the people on the phone you call at customer services ask for their supervisor and insist they look at the account problem again and then email the CEO etc - I got my frozen funds back but was still permanently limited by Paypal - I sold authentic Iphones etc and got banned too

I doubt they are authentic. Many people strongly believe that iphone parts are legit and sadly they are not... It is very very hard to become a iphone dealer...

freshfitz, escalate your inquiry - ask for supervisor. Will take bit of time but keep at it.

Just because other people sell them, does not mean they wont get axed sooner or later - hope you get results you seek ....at least something clear.

I called yesterday asked for a supervisor he said he could not find anything on my account that would lead to the suspension.

Since I've been a member for 13 years he said he was going to submit my account for appeal and that I should get an email within 72 hrs.

Still have not herd anything, I also responded to the MC008 email 3x and nothing.

Thanks for everyone's help, pretty bad I have to come here for answers that ebay's own staff and site doesn't provide.

So I never heard back from the supervisor called again today and got connected to the india call center.
For the first time the first customer service rep could tell me why I was suspended and continued to argue with me that nothing could be done.

I asked for her supervisor she argued with me and said the supervisor would not be able to do anything. I think she put me on hold for 25 min then handed the phone to the Indian next to her argued with her for about 10 min finally she put me on the phone with her so called "manager".

The manager was actually understanding and said with the length of me being a member he would look into this and see what he can do. By the end of the conversation the manager said he doesnt know where to take this next and would have to ask around on how to get the restriction removed.

I guess there is no way internally to remove the restriction unless you are friends with the CEO or the 3 people that have the remove restriction button !!!

It truly is very annoying, I myself am in similar situation where I can't get an answer to why their are restrictions and no one has answered to my appeals. Best of luck with your account and I hope it all gets resolved.

While waiting, I suggest you create stealth accounts just in case. The sooner you start the better your chances of getting up on your own two feet once more.

So I pretty much got another fu email from ebay it was the trust and safety dept laughing at me cause I placed an appeal on the suspension. At this point lets get some investors and start ebay2. Kickstarter.com anyone?

I love this statement: "This decision is final and
we may not respond to future inquires regarding this matter."

Thank you for contacting eBay in regard to the restriction on your
account. It’s my understanding you would like to appeal this
restriction.

In reviewing your restriction, we've noted the following concerns:
-- Violations received on account, including item removals
-- Claims from buyers questioning the authenticity of items sold
-- You relisted an item we removed:
- Item # iPhone 4G 4 Back Glass Battery Cover
- Item # iPhone 4G 4 Back Glass Battery Cover

These concerns cause negative buying experiences and unfairness to other
sellers that are following our policies and providing great customer
service.

The eBay User Agreement states that we may restrict, suspend or
terminate user accounts if we believe you're creating problems, possible
legal liabilities, or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of
our policies.

While we understand that you may not agree with the decision to restrict
your account, based on an additional review, we've decided that your
account will remain restricted indefinitely. This decision is final and
we may not respond to future inquires regarding this matter.

To read the user agreement, go to:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/user-agreement.html

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Todd
eBay Customer Support

I'm actually shocked Todd gave you a list of eBay's "concerns". They usually just say it's a matter of policy to not explain why!

So, basically, eBay suspects you were selling counterfeits. That is considered a severe policy violation.

ZERO CHANCE of getting the account back.
