No, not a knig.

A wanna be leader.

empirestate = empireleader.

King implies more status than he actually has.

Why spend money on rent or a mortgage when you can live in an old van down by the river...?

Given a lot of the posts on here I'd say most of these people live in a bubble.

If this was in Hawaii it would make sense.......where the weather is perfect.

I have seen homeless people just live on the beach and in a van......

We had a few of those last year...

Otherwise life is great here in Florida, sun, fun and lots of people have been swimming at the pool here since the end of February.

Yesterday was bitterly cold... 61 degrees at 8am, 85 degrees at 2PM. Miserable, I tell you. Absolutely miserable.

Right? Nothing worse than having to turn on the heater in the morning and the A/C in the afternoon.

At least you have Cubans. We don't have those in SC.

Meh.. maybe there are worse things than a mild climate. </1st world problems>

I rarely have time to think about ways to save cash, only to make it. Best is to have a wife who will collect those coupons, haggle down the vegetable market etc.

I did recently discover hairwax was more cost effective than gel though

The sandwich, or the ethnic variety?

I guess we have both.

one my habits nowadays,

I only replace something if it is broken.

I only buy if it is a necessity.......

I always think do I really need this? Can I spend my money someplace else instead?

The only time I would not think like this is if I had like 5 million dollars.....

buying a 40-50k car with that type of money is like pennies to you.....

I only upgrade when I feel like I received a significant amount of value that outweighs the cost involved....

for example people upgrade phones every year to the newest model.

I only upgrade phones every few years.........because I do not see why I would pay $600-1000 dollars for a 1 up model upgrade of the iphone or samsung when the value is very minor.........in terms of speed and appearance...

I watch movies 3-4 weeks after it has been out.....I do not like to be near people in theater....I want the best seats in an empty theater..........matter of convenience....

I only buy expensive name brand clothes.....if I feel that the value exists....

for instance....the thread count.....the material it is made out of.......the type of design........

I am not like kanye west.....who goes to high brand name stores and buy plain white cotton t shirts for $550 bucks each......the type that you can buy at walmart......

I have a different approach to life,

I live in a big house by myself with my two male dogs....no estrogen in here....

I got 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.......

whereas, the people in third world countries......some all have to share a bathroom with the entire community........

Clearly, I have my needs taken cared of....

Put my contacts in and re-read the post.

‘Course might be hard to get that hairwax in the Eastern Bloc.

That happens to me. 85 degrees is just a wee bit warm.

PS, I prefer Cuban cigars.

One time I ran out of hair gel and I had an important function to attend and I had to improvise so I used a bit of vaseline mixed with olive oil and a splash of honey. It surprisingly worked but was a bit sticky...

That's actually very proactive, if you were expecting a hand job later on that night!
