Pretty much spot on as to what happened.

Am I the only person who was annoyed with the fact the last episode was almost entirely of people sitting around and talking things out? The best scene was the murder scene and even that was pretty tame. The dragon's emotional outburst was pretty cool though.

I wished Sansa was the one to take the throne as she had so much bad history in that place and I think she would've been the best person to make the required changes. It would be the ultimate redemption for her. I can imagine her staring at the spot where her dad's head used to be staked.

The music was good. And Bran the Broken saying "why do you think I came all the way here" gave me goosebumps.

They are already working on a pre-quel called Blood Moon

Another HBO tv show worth watching is CHERNOBYL ... basically a documentary on the nuclear power plant disaster back in 1986. So many things I didn't know that the show covers. Really grim but powerful to watch. Do not miss it!

Some are comparing Etugrul to Game Of Thrones due to the costume / scenery / dialogue / themes etc.

The ending finale in season 8 was so bad I almost shut it off and came very close to not even finishing it, I'll never bother watching it again the writers ruined and trashed Game of Thrones. Season 8 in general was a big disappointment and the only good episode in that whole season was the one in Winterfell that depicted the battle between the Army of the Dead and the Army of the Living called ''The Long Night''.

The ending that could have shocked the world and saved season 8 is if Petyr Baelish wasn't dead and he had a faceless man take his place Little Finger gave that blonde haired women the coin of Braavos that explained everything Arya had one at one time and used it. When Arya slit the throat of who everyone thought was Petyr Baelish when it really wasn't.

In the very episode where the Unsullied and Dothraki started to kill Lannisters even after the city bell ringed and they surrendered. Grey Worm should have then ordered all the Northerners to be killed right after the Lannisters all were for there betrayal for not joining in to execute the Army in Kings Landing because they didn't help fight the Army of the Dead and also killed the innocence. Once the Golden Company, Lannisters, and then Northerners were all dead. Grey worm then ordered the Unsullied to then attack the Dothraki and out of now where here comes a hidden Army that's the Knights of the Vale and between the two Armies the Unsullied and the Knights of the Vale who show up to fight just like they did against the Boltons they kill all of the Dothraki and in all that Chaos and death you see Grey Worm make it over to the Ballistics and pierces the last dragon Rhaegar in the throat getting a kill shot and throws Daenerys off the Dragon from an insanely high altitude where Daenerys falls to her death. Then they show Grey Worm grabbing his skin at his throat and removing his face when it was really Petyr Baelish that caused all the Mutiny with all the sudden death and destruction. The show ends with Petyr Baelish marrying Sansa and then the very ending scene of the show showing Petyr Baelish sitting down on the Iron Throne.

If season 8 really would have ended that way it wouldn't have mattered to what leaks donkeykong2012 or anyone else would have had because they wouldn't have believed it....Ending Game of Thrones like that would have made it one of the most shocking and twisted endings in television.

Season 8 will never be rewritten even with all the hate and complaints that it received with fans wanting a remake. I am curious though to watch Game of Thrones House of the Dragon. It's been confirmed and official for years now and it finally airs later tonight...There is no way it will be as bad as the 8th season of Game of Thrones was.....LoL

the thread is 3 years old... I doubt everyone is still reading this.

But yes... the ending was shocking... shockingly bad. I don't understand how they could have made this decision.

Yeah the prequel is called Game of Thrones House of the Dragon as I already mentioned it in post #104 in this thread...The first episode aired last night and after watching it looks interesting. I am surprised they created a prequel that takes place 172 years before the death of the Mad King Aerys Targaryen and the birth of Daenerys Targaryen.
