That's really good to see. I'm done speculating at this point - the rabbit hole is endless. Once it's known where the virus truly came from the story will be easier to piece together. Nature vs bio lab.
I do think Xi was sending a message to Trump and/or the world by building the hospital so quickly. "Look, I saw them build a hospital in very short time." He was impressed, he's into building things. Kinda coincidental.
Putting the economy on lockdown. Intentionally under-reporting or lack of ability/need to report accurate death count. Then sending aid. Makes Communism look superior to Democracy, which those flaws are showing now. Add it to the current politics between China/US it doesn't help much. And all the stuff that will be going down in 20 some odd years.

"Strange pneumonia" in Italy as far back as November.
Part of the transcript South Morning China Post is referencing. Interview on NPR with Italian Professor Giuseppe Remuzzi.
POGGIOLI: Some question why Italy was caught off guard when the virus outbreak was revealed on February 21. Remuzzi says only now is he hearing new information from general practitioners.
REMUZZI: That they remember having seen very strange pneumonias, very severe, particularly in old people in December and even in November. It means that the virus was circulating at least in Lombardy before we were aware of this outbreak occurring in China. https://www.npr.org/transcripts/817974987
Specific quotes on South China Morning Post
“They [general practitioners] remember having seen very strange pneumonia, very severe, particularly in old people in December and even November,” Giuseppe Remuzzi, the director of the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research in Milan, said in an interview with the National Public Radio of the United States.
“This means that the virus was circulating, at least in [the northern region of] Lombardy and before we were aware of this outbreak occurring in China.” https://www.scmp.com/news/china/soci...vember-leading Government records suggest first person infected with new disease may have been a Hubei resident aged 55, but ‘patient zero’ has yet to be confirmed
Some of the cases were likely backdated after health authorities had tested specimens taken from suspected patients.
Interviews with whistle-blowers from the medical community suggest Chinese doctors only realised they were dealing with a new disease in late December.
Accounts by other doctors seem to suggest the medical community in Wuhan became aware of the disease in late December.
According to the government data seen by the Post, a 55 year-old from Hubei province could have been the first person to have contracted Covid-19 on November 17.
Previous reports said that although doctors in the city collected samples from suspected cases in late December, they could not confirm their findings because they were bogged down by bureaucracy, such as having to get approval from the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, which could take days. They were also ordered not to disclose any information about the new disease to the public. https://www.scmp.com/news/china/soci...se-traced-back
Sooooo.... could have originated anywhere based on the new evidence. China may be getting wrongfully blamed as the origin (2002-2003 SARS origin being China). Dunno yet.

If you're going to post anything from anyone, maybe best not to post from a Chinese source.

The fact that this virus spreads so quickly, one wonder if this is bred for biological warfare ?
My USPS priority shipments to Germany is same,SLUGGISH !
yes,pent up demand?
But we will all be poorer, loss of income, medical bills, margin calls.
Many are forced to sell their stocks to meet margin calls .
renters cant pay rent, landlord then cant make their mortgage payments and banks lose money.
Companies are omitting dividend,so stockholders will starve if they are counting on a dividend check !
There will be more crimes, like in 2008.
not if you live in CA and renting !
Some business may not come back,so there will be real inflation, due to supply and demand Quote:

Carrier is gold old post office,so in GERMANY it is good old Deutshe Post
Elon Musk donated some respirators, some said he got them from China

I'd be money that millions of americans have already been infected, and or were already infected.

SARS and Covid19 are pretty close on this chart. The extreme number of cases and the contagiousness doesn't add up. That says it's been around longer than previously thought. https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/ar...sars-ebola-flu

Serious/critical is 2.25% | I mean, with how much everything is locked down, I'm not really surprised? I'd have been surprised if it didn't. But, now what? Can't stay locked down forever.

It's one of the reasons so many are dying in certain places.

The trend we were on, about a week ago, had us at 1.6 million cases by April 4th. By the looks of things, now, we won't be anywhere near that. Thank goodness.
12 days out from that date, we would have been at 50,000,000 ish. Just to show you what NOT DOING ANYTHING would have accomplished. People couldn't have even been cared for in the hospitals.
After this, like you say, the best thing to do will be protect the elderly and the immunocompromised and everyone get back to work. With some safety precautions thrown into the mix.
