I am not a bills fan...I just like Mr. Bill..the character that started on SNL |
I would much rather see a team as good as the Pats have been over the last 10 years get caught NOT cheating then to see the dirty head shot play of the Ravens.
Play like this ruins the game and hurts players who are husbands, fathers etc to others.
7 head shots by the Ravens in one game and not a word from NFL commissioner. He should have already WARNED them that player will be ejected and fined large sums of money for any and all head shots that appear to be purposely done like all 7 last week were.
No one enjoys dirty football players who are hell bent like the Ravens on taking out the prime players of the other team, if you do then you are heartless and need to watch the WWF or something.

The other thing that ticks me off is the ESPN guys and fans are all cranked up about the retirement of Ray Lewis.
Sure he has been an awesome player and is a good god loving man but come on the man will be a HOF but he is not among the best ever.
Then the issue is Tony Gonzalez. Mr Cool and is one of the best ever to play the game at TE said early this would be his last year and no one says a word.
Gonzalez will be a HOF and probably in the top 5 if not top 2-3 TE ever.
Ray Lewis would not make my top 50 LB of all time.
Then the issue of Miami Hurricanes, I call it the dirty U, and of course Lewis played there. They won titles by being good but also were known for being dirty. The Ohio St Buckeyes were bitten, scratched, cleated, stepped on in the championship game and ended up beating them anyway.
The U is a training grounds for many dirty players. Not all but many.
Remember when the U players went into the stands and was hitting opposing teams fans with their helmets. Bunch of criminals playing football.

all these games are run to achieve the best ratings. when riddley got knocked out he was down before he fumbled however it was not even reviewed. sports are a joke and referees control the game based on outside influences.
this is all coming from a big sports fan but these games are impossible to watch without seeing constant manipulating of the rules, CONSTANT!

I agree, its really getting old.
Like ND playing Alabama and how they hyped up ND as a great team.
Perfect example of why things need to change in college FB as ND did not deserve to be in this game even though unbeaten. Not a hard schedule I might add.
Billing ND as a dynasty etc drove me nuts.
One good team in 30 years and they are dynasty.
I hope people stop buying the BS

I grew up in a large family of sports nuts.
Most still are, even myself, I enjoy it still but as time as gone by I watched exactly how we were being so manipulated.
Think of all the suckers who buy NFL NBA MLB college sports products.
I sell New Era hats etc by the day and often think, well another 10 bucks in the league and owners pockets.

Wow! I didnt think we had this many sports fan in this forum. Theres sports all year long like football, basketball, baseball, hockey, etc Dont you all think it would be cool if everyone that wants to participate, put in 5 or 10 dollars and pick a team they feel would win it all. The winner then wins all the money if the team they choose wins and if you have more then 1 person who pick the same teams then they divide the money with each other. I think it would be pretty cool. Just a friendly forum game.

Did you see where the NFL is looking into the slide Tom Brady made with his leg up to protect himself from being hit?
Looking into seeing if he should not have stuck his leg up?
Are you kidding me?
After 7 helmet to helmet hits by the dirty Ravens they want to look at this and not the rabid Ravens head hunters?
If it were me and I was the commish I would review the game and any direct head to head hit by any player that showed it could have been avoided that player would be gone for the super bowl period.
Send a message real quick that head hunting is over.
Use the dirtiest team in the leaque to set an example.

It's truly one big joke. I can't even put it into words how unbelievably inconsistent the league is for calling fines and determining penalties.
Apparently fining a player $10k for wearing his socks too low last week, is more important than noticing the odd pattern that Ravens (particularly Bernard Pollard) has with injuring Patriots top players' year after year. There's no way it's a coincidence anymore. Not only that, but just how dirty the Ravens play in general. Ravens coaches must be teaching the players how to make dirty tackles look clean. Then every so often it doesn't quite work and the result is injured players and thankfully, some penalties.

They have been getting away with it for years.
Must have learned it from the Steelers who used to do the same thing.

AND don't forget Lewis was indicted on murder charges back in 2000, lied to police and got off by testifying against his two buddies. Seems everyone has forgotten about that. Then in 2004 settled for an undisclosed amount of money to each of the families of the 2 guys that got stabbed by Lewis and his buddies.
And now all of sudden he's a family man and all close with God?
It's crazy what you can get away with when you have money.
Go 9ners!

Go 9ners! | Sad I have to think this way but when I think of any team in college as the team of criminals I always think of Miami U.
For years many of their U players have been arrested for gangs issues, drugs, rape, break ins and the final straw was when Ucriminals went into the stands and used their helmets on opposing teams fans.
Introductions get me, when someone says I am from "The U" I automatically think oh boy, wonder what house he broke into. They say it with pride but its done nothing to deserve any pride.
