Seahawks defense is very good and very aggressive as someone mentioned earlier.
Now that I think about it they play dirty like the Ravens always did.
Sherman held Crabtree the entire game.
In fact V Davis was held at the line over and over and not one call.
Will they get away with this in the SB?

If Wilson and the Hawks offense play like they did vs the 49ers. It will be a blowout. Sherman is a great CB. But he can't cover D. Thomas, Welker, Decker and J. Thomas. As poor as the Broncos Defense has been recently. The lack of Seattle offense even with the great D. I personally think Denver trumps that. In my opinion Denver beats Seattle by 12 or more points.

The offence of Denver vs. defence of Seahawks - if Seahawks hold them...which they might not be able to...then low scoring affair...otherwise Denver should power through

We never learn, Defense wins championships but whenever the shiny new offense comes rolling around everyone is dying to pick them.
If you can get to the QB, it doesn't matter who the WRs are.

Are you kidding me? Those receivers are good but not great themselves either. Richard Sherman is the top rated plus, power seller of cornerbacks. He will put the cuffs on any receiver.

Sherman is good but like most trash talkers someone knocks them down a level.
Too many weapons for the brainiac Manning. Seattle is quick and covers mistakes well but Manning will put them out of position and score some points.
( Hey Denver, Seattle does not cover screen plays well )
Seattle reminds me of the dirty play of the Ravens a lot and I hope they dont allow them to constantly grab shirts, hold players and hit them after they are down like they have got away with all year.
My guess
Denver 38
Seattle 27
Niners had Wilson running like a mad man first half and stopped. Jack Del Rio, an awesome LB himself in his day will be going after him big tiime.

Hmm think it was in the 49ers game where there was such a blatant pass interference (grab) by the Seahawks that was played over and over - but no flag thrown

Hold the MVP Manning to 14 points?
He will score 14 before you get to your first bathroom break. | |

I personally think that craziest part about the 2 teams other than both being the number 1 seed is that both states Washington and Denver both legalize Mary Jane ! Super happy fans with the munchies.

I dont think Seattle can hang with them myself even with that D that is suppose to be so good.
Manning will have them confused and out of place and will take advantage of it.
If the Denver D can get to Wilson like 49ers did they can shut down the offense.

If they had Browner I would buy your argument. But the Hawks offense has been terrible. As bad as Denver's D is and as poor as the AFC in general has been defensively tackling etc. Manning will still carve up the Seahawks defense. Even if you take out D. Thomas. Who is going to cover Welker, J. Thomas, Decker, even Moreno gets love in the passing game.
I know the Broncos Defense is bad. But the Seahawks offense has been weak as of late. I don't see the Seahawks defense slowing down Manning enough to beat him. Like I said maybe if Browner was there because he could neutralize Decker or Welker. But they got too many weapons and the smartest QB in the NFL.
I like to give the NFC West love I think they got the best division in football. But Manning running his offense with all those weapons. Sherman is great like I said. But they don't have the personnel to cover everyone else in my opinion. Should be an awesome game.

Seattle does not have the offense to score a ton of points and Manning will score his points, so Seattle had better find a way to score a ton of points.

If Seattle defense can step up HARD, Seattle could win the low scoring affair.
Was looking at stats of #1 Defence teams who win Super Bowl vs. #1 Offence teams...interesting stats

Give Manning 2 weeks and you might as well hand him at least 3 TDs.
The DB are good for sure but they cannot cover deep, short and then a nice bubble screen once the WR are long down field.
Look for some of these plays coming.

I think one thing that has been overlooked. This could be huge for Seattle. Is the weather. NY/NJ is getting hit hard with Snow right now. Manning has always played poorly in cold weather games. Will be interesting to see what the weather is like.
Roger Goodell is a moron. SB in Feb in New Jersey give me a break. Not to mention now he wants to get rid of the XP. There are some things that are just staples of the game. Even if they are essentially automatic. You have to adhere to the tradition of the game.
I still remember this Saints game distinctly. Miracle play the kicker chocked on the XP and cost them a chance at the playoffs.

He also tossed around the idea of 4 points for any FG over 50 yards
