I like Pokemon (since it was big business for me way way back when it first hit North Am) but I'm not a fan of the increase in screen time and yes, Play, the real-life distraction about this game.

I saw one guy leaving the gym last night - crossing a red light with his phone out playing Pokemon AND talking to someone about what Pokemon he was chasing at the moment hah

I've downloaded the game but haven't had chance to play it yet.

Game is total crap, but as the most money in the world is done on selling crap...well done Nintendo, that crap just grossed 15 BN on stock market.

You can trade Pokemon on the Pokemon Go? If so...then likely sales can be done

I saw accounts for sale on eb - different lvls....so maybe if a rare pokemon is on that account...for sure...

Read on the news that something similar was used to lure people to a certain location where they were robbed.
And as for playing outside - there's no real playing. Its still a bunch of disconnected individuals plugged into their devices and completely zombified. There is no interaction between humans - only between a human and his device. Sad really.

Wish there was a way to make this into a team game. Would make it so much better.
That's why Im a big fan of games such as MechWarrior online. The ONLY way to play it is to be a part of a team.
Maybe they'll have updates in the future where youll need to interact with others in order to catch the more rare ones. I think that would be an excellent way to have the game evolve.

Forced interaction with others...could bring out even more nefarious ppl....

There is a park in my area with 6 Pokestops within a 1min distance (walking) from one another, and even some that are stacked to where you can collect 3 if you stand in a specific area.

Seriously, the most people I've ever seen at the park. Between 7pm-11pm, there are easily 100-150 people consistently there. People have even set up little vendor tables to sell drinks! This guy selling water/Gatorade has a line of people buying from him out of his coolers!

Oh and I'm lvl 22 with a 1960 CP Exeggutor

Eventually, this will be a capability that they will implement in the future. In the original preview of the game, it's shown that people can trade and interact with others in-game.

Make it an option.
I think plenty of people would love to team up with friends or family members for such a game.

I was pretty addicted to the game at first but after it took up about 7 hours of my time for 3 days in a row, I knew I had to give it up. I've been at level 17 for about two weeks now and haven't really played since lol
