eBay permanently banned my account 14 years ago. Over the years, I appealed about three times, and they rejected me immediately every single time.A few days ago, I decided to try one last time, fully expecting a swift rejection. Instead of an automated "no," they sent me a list of about 20 verification questions asking what I plan to sell, my dispatch times, etc. After answering, they actually gave the account back.Honestly, I don't even care anymore. I moved on years ago. For a long time, I had to throw items away or give them to charity because there was nowhere else to sell. For the last four years, I've been happily using Vinted, Gumtree, and Depop.It is obvious eBay is scrambling for buyers and sellers because they are losing ground to other platforms. Years ago, I used to run six stealth accounts with fake names and addresses, but I closed them all down over five years ago when they managed payments through bank accounts instead of PayPal.They will be lucky if I ever sell anything on there again. I think I'll just stick to using it as a buyer. I have family members willing to give me their eBay accounts (one UK, one is US) however they don’t want to be tax liable, what would be the correct way to attach my LTD and LLC to these accounts? Also how would I avoid a Mc105 where they think the account is stolen? I want to do this the right way as it feels like my last two chances of being able to sell on eBay.
