Stealth Gambling/Betting accounts - is it possible?

Hi.

I like to gamble with my spare money but a few of my online betting accounts have been closed down because I kept on winning!!!

It sounds dumb, but it happens to a lot of people.

Is there any way to open stealth accounts?

Silly question but...have you tried opening stealth accounts on the betting sites? And what info is required to open an account and get paid?

Re: Stealth Gambling/Betting accounts - is it possible?

I tried to open a stealth betting account on my other computer with a new ip - I sort of followed the stealth tactics I use for eb/pp

However, they want id verification before I can start to bet/withdraw.

I sent a scan of the id (driving license) they wanted but they do proper verification so it failed.

Ideally I need to be verified or the money I put in/win will be held forever - no good !!!

I think maybe they are like a bank and if they are, I am not interested in stealth on betting sites for obvious reasons

I can't imagine it being possible to have a stealth account for a betting website..

Dangerous to apply stealth to gambling sites - if they suspect ANYTHING weird, you get auto-shutdown....guess risk vs. reward is a question to ask

Most betting sites operate using a system called know your customer.

I don't think it is possible to have stealth accounts.

So you basically answered your own question......

seems that this is a HUGE and risky industry so these sites would have the HIGHEST amount of securities plus the government regulations etc..

Agree with everyone else. Doesnt look like regular stealth techniques will work for this situation unfortunately.

You could always experiment OP but keep the potential for loss minimal at the onset...

The only option you have is to use a friend or relatives ID.

But BEFORE YOU CONSIDER ASKING: Remember: They will be responsible to report their winnings on their taxes. YOU need to pay them back whatever percentage that is.

Also, it MIGHT be illegal to gamble with someone elses ID. Consult an attorney.

Overall, NOT a recommended option, but possible if you have the willpower.

You don't pay taxes on gambling winnings in the uk.

There are plenty of betting websites for the op could choose. They won't all have banned him.

My guess is they want to deposit money from paypal and withdraw to a bank from the betting site.

USA doesn't play nice with laun.dering. I can't imagine you can play in UK without identification though. But, like just-smile said, there's more than one site out there to play on.

That's exactly where I was going with that. It's a federal offense, a felony, here.

I can't believe you "blokes" in the UK don't pay taxes on gambling winnings! I don't partake, but we get taxed on ANY "income".

HMRC class it as a tax free income, 0% paid

I dont deposit from paypal as pretty much all sites only accept card payments as 1st payment as to rule out bad behaviour - no problem for me, I am one of the good guys :)

After looking into things and talking with live help on the sites, it is not possible to have stealths.

Some/many allow family at same address but they do not qualify for any offers - which is how most of the money is made - however, still GOOD money monthly to be made :)

If running accounts for others, make sure they have appropriate id as many sites want verification due to us making money - understandable.

Also, when running other accounts, even for family at same address, you need to stealth out in other ways - new MAC addy, new ips, new other main few bits - if you no do them, they keep your money, so make sure you know what is what.

OK, thanks for reading my crap - MODS maybe move this thread to SUBSCRIBER, thanks

If we had to pay taxes on winnings we would be able to claim against our tax bill for any losses.

This would make it all very complex and most people (in the long term) loose more than they win

Stealth gambling is not a good idea

In the USA we can claim a very small amount in losses against our income tax but 100% of our winnings. If I remember correctly it is a couple thousand total or less.

Exactly.

And to be fair, James is VERY correct. US Tax code is INCREDIBLY complex. Average citizens are clueless to the details, myself included. I am, however, aware that you are correct. You can claim a small amount of gambling losses on your taxes.

Re: Stealth Gambling/Betting accounts - is it possible?

Not worth the hassle.

(INFO IS FOR UK USERS)

For a start, any money withdrawn has to go back to the main deposit method if withdrawn within 6 months.

Some sites will ask you for I.D if you just make a deposit over £100 and none that I know of will let you withdrawal until you produce I.D.

It is just good old fashioned money laundering and fraud, all gambling sites operating in the UK do so under very strict license conditions. The very least that will happen if you get found out is you have your funds confiscated, and possible lengthy police investigation into this and other activities too.....which in turn will jeopardise your stealths AND you will likely end up on bank blacklists for fraud watch.

Interesting what happens in Greece:

Taxed daily 15% on winnings between 100 euro to 500 euro and 20% on winnings above 500 euro BUT you can not off set losing days against winning ones.

How is the tax done? Upon collection?
