I need to send some money to a supplier. Does anybody know if you can pay for Western Union with a credit card?

You can. But quite often, they hold it for 24 hours to make sure the card isn't stolen. And some times they refuse entirely.

Yes for send online, but not all the countries. I know US or UK can Pay with your Visa® or MasterCard® credit card.

That last line in your post is the key. I've had an account with Western Union since 1989. Better than half my transactions are held for fraud prevention. Some of them get cancelled. I'm a gold member of Western Union.

Best way to WU money is cash at a counter.

I was wanting to use Discover or American Express to pay my Western Union.

Yeah the only way you can do that is online or over the phone. Either way the fees are outrageous. Or you could find someone that will swipe your card and give you cash!

I think one time I paid half the western union with my debit card, and the remainder with my american express. I'll try this again.

You can pay onlyine but its $40 for each transfer..compared to the $14 at your local agent.

I wonder how WU can still be in business. Probably half the transactions are for shady business, and the fees as everyone said are outrageous. If someone wanted to send another person money as a gift, there are much better and cheaper ways.

Ok... So I've never used paypal plug in before, trying to figure it out still, from what I understand, it generates online CC #'s..... Can these be used to send a western union or money gram transfer? Just a thought.....

I used WU one time buying from china air jordan shoes lot. Never do that again. Real people take real payment methods. I get my shoes but they was bad, stil sold but 30% was unhappy :).
