any ideas on good money investing opportunities ?

Invest in the stockmarket?

Just pick a stock, dump some funds in it and a couple years from now you should have a good return.

Pick a good stock that isn't going bankrupt. :)

i don't know anything about stocks and shares :doh:

Go to TDAmeritrade and sign up for a brokerage account.

You should probably start with 1-3k to get you going and to test the waters.

Just aim for the top traded companies.

I like Bank of America (BAC), Apple (APPL), Amazon (AMZN), Ford (F), Coke (K), etc..

Find a company you like, you use everyday and do some research on it to see if it's cheap enough to invest in.

Buy something cheap, hold it for awhile and hopefully profit.

I have doubled my money since I started investing in early March.

Personally, I preferr Sharebuilder.com. There are NO fees to open an account or to begin investing. Invest the dollar amount you want.?.? And only $4 to place your trade...that is the lowest, to the best of my knowledge and searching, of all of the online investing companies. They are affiliated with ING as well.
Even to anyone who has never invested into a stock, Sharebuilder is very simply instructed. You'll see once you get on to the site. All "tickers" or stocks that you want to watch will be on the left hand side and will show the good, the bad and the ugly results when the DOW rings the bell.
