Greendot to fund bank account
 

Hi i was wondering if anyone know if you can fund a new bank account with chase or any bank for that matter with a greendot card. I know bank's won't let you fund the new account with a gift card because it has to be funded from a checking account . So would a greendot card be considered a checking account and let you fund the bank account. Greendot does require verification of social and so it is basically all the same stuff you do with a normal bank?

pls help i don't want to have to buy a greendot and then find out it won't work. so if anyone know then thank's a million for the help.

you can't withdraw from greendot bank only deposit just use your card for opening up deposits
