Alipay, advice appreciated :)
 

hi all

i dont like sending payments to suppliers in china with paypal because paypal always have error codes, i heard about Alipoay awhile back and i heard its very similar to paypal in terms of if you dont receive or faulty goods its money back,

anyone have any experience?

Alipay works more like a bank account, once you send the money it's gone (for people-to-people anyway). It's very easy to use though and I've never had any issues.

To open an account, you need to go to China and have them verify your ID. Once that is done you can use it from any country you like however you can only load CNY onto it so you have to wire money to your Chinese bank account first then Alipay then your supplier.

I have alipay account and i don't needed to go to china or do ID verification. I signed up after aliexpress. They are linked like eBay and PayPal...
