IS PAYFLOW & PAYPAL THE SAME thing? Can anyone suggest alternatives like ccnow?

Hey guys I was in the process of looking for a payment processor for my site. I've had problems with pp in the past like most of you so I was evaluating alternative payment processors that would still allow me to accept pp without actually having a pp account (ex: 2CO or CC NOW)
My first question, is payflow the EXACT same thing as paypal? If one of my paypal accounts has my real info but has been limited, will I still be able to use payflow with my real info? The only thing that would change in payflow would be the phone number and also instead of having my name it would be my business name.
I also mentioned in the title to suggest alternatives like ccnow which allows us to accept paypal without having a pp account. Is there any other payment processor besides 2CO and ccnow that offer this service?

I have looked but not dug deeper into other services. Payflow is different than pp.

payflow is an offshot of paypal.

Be aware that there may be the possibility/probability of linking.

Have you looked over the payFlow site to see what it actually is.

Essentially it should be avoided.

Other better options exist.

This is what I do. I google the subject.

In the case of payflow's, there are comments by others. I read them and get a picture of what they are talking about.

Often some posts are from other forums. Often the info is informative to make choices.

Then, I look at a site. If it is related to PayPal,eBay, I use stealth methods to access it.

Works for me.

Or, I look for a toll free number and call them....
