Default VPN vs Proxies?

Hi friends,

I am trying to create my own stealth accounts and wondered what you think the "best" (if any) option is...

option 1) using firefox portable and get a Dedicated IP address with some proxies... I find this very convenient and cheap... $2.35 a month for the proxies.

option 2) Get a dedicated Fresh IP from IPBurger or 24vc providers, opening a new user on my computer...

Now... the second option is much more expensive... IF it means the account is safer, obviously a good investment. However if there is NO difference between using proxies with firefox portable and VPN... why would I spend more money? particularly as I am looking to create 3 stealth accounts right away.

Maybe there is a technicality I am missing here and someone can shed a light... many thanks!!

To be honest, I do not know, hence why I am asking. I watched this video:
(from minute 3:05) recommending to use FF Portable and proxies..

Yet, I see other people talking about VPN's.

Thanks

There is a lot of confusion in the forums regarding difference between VPN and Proxy.

Just think of VPN as operating system level end to end encryption. It's a privacy tool primarily, whereas proxy is application level (web browser for example).

That said there are different qualities of IPs, most bad and only a few good. Most VPN providers only provide shared IPs that are often flagged for abuse. These aren't good for stealth level account management. Higher level providers offer dedicated IPs, such as IPBurger. These are great for account management as IPs aren't shared wither others.

IPBurger offers both VPN and proxy support. You can use either for eBay/PayPal. We have proxy managers for both Firefox and Chrome now.

Both are really neat and make managing accounts effortless when you setup firefox profiles.

Hi Aspkin, feel honoured to get a reply from you

Is there any tutorial or guide on how to use IPBurger...? how set it up and manage - let's say - 5 stealth accounts?

As an example, do I get the add on on my normal firefox or a portable one?

Thanks in advanced for your help!

Here is how to setup Firefox profiles properly: https://secure.ipburger.com/kb/brows...refox/multiple

Personally I use my normal Firefox for account management and Chrome for everyday use (non eBay/PayPal tasks)

Just sign up for 3 months to start with ipburger, very easy to set up, completely painless. If all goes well, will get more for my mini empire :-)
