Where should I sell more expensive items
 

Generally all my stuff has been between $100-$300, but now I want to start getting some things up to $1000 to sell off. But I don't trust the riff raff not to scam me via Paypal dispute. Is there any more reasonable option than paypal/ebay for vendors for this kind of thing?

Have you looked at other platforms e.g. Amazon?

I have but I am intimately aware of how rampant Amazon refunding was, and maybe still is so was wary. Although these days it seems to be dying down with them requiring police reports more and more. Do you(or anyone else) feel that selling on Amazon as a private vendor is less risky as far as chargebacks/refund scamming is concerned?

No matter what platform you use the possibility of a scammer always exists.
If anything id stick to ebay since it is easier to spot one based on the feedback they have.

some goods types appeal to scammers, or electronics or things that can go wrong have issues too, clothing the same....you notice a big difference if you drop problematic goods, if that is possible to do for you.......
