Looking for sellers that sell all things electrical to join marketplace
 

Hi everyone, I'm looking for sellers that sell all things electrical, mobile phones, phone accessories, laptops, Android tabs, household appliences. I currently have a website pricewow.co.uk just for selling these type of products. The website is currently filled with most of my stock at the moment. I'm currently just doing advertising to bring in buyers at the moment as I feel bringing buyers is more important. I currently make around 15 sales a day on the website. I've build up a huge buyer base that are interested in these type of products. If you click on history you will see purchase history For just a few sales. I've built up a buyer base of just over 700 people interested in these types of products. I'm looking for sellers to list similar types of products. All I change is an 11% end of sale fee as I feel this is fair for the effort of bringing buyers to the website. Would be great to have your support!

Is it UK Only?

You can sell from any country as long as you don't mind selling to UK buyers, if selling from anywhere else than the UK, then you must state in the listing which country the item is being sent from and state how long delivery will take.

Lots of counterfeit versions of memory cards being sold all over the place - if your sellers sell it, it gives your marketplace a bad name from the get go.

That is way too high of a fee. Electronics is so competitive as it is, everyone is fighting to make large number of sales, just to make selling the product at low margins worthwhile.

Don't mean to be a downer, but the drawing board may need a revisit.

If your trying to compete with ebay, it just wont work. If your trying to setup a platform for your own sales, then you could make it work.

Hi Play, thanks for your reply, I know what you're saying and I understand that. I'm in no way trying to compete with any sites what so ever. I quite happy selling my own products from it. It pays the bills, I just thought that people selling similar products may be interested, any phones that are listed onto the website will be asked to enter imei numbers and will be checked out. As for the 11% I feel it's a fair amount for what I spend on advertising. We all know that these sites that wanna be the next eBay aren't gonna get anywhere charging no fees at all. How are they suppose to run. despite that, people are still paying listing fees on ebay and fees on Paypal to sell these products, and even more on Amazon.

Is there a way to bulk upload, or is it a one-at-a-time type thing?

I have an Audio/Electronics website with about 14,000 products on it, and I use Excel to do the importing/exporting.

Hi ebaystealth1974, yes there is a bulk lister, so you can bulk upload items no problem via CSV. If you create an account and check out bulk lister under the seller tools in your account, it will show you an example of what format the file needs to be in. If you need help with bulk uploading any products then I'll be happy to help.

This site is a carbon copy of Buuy.co.uk, but Buuy was around first.

Buuy closed on February 28th due to lack of buyers / sellers and i did sell there and sold 1 item. You would need to do some serious amount of advertising to get buyers and sellers to the site. 11% is too high - just on a par with Ebay and us ex Ebayers want a site that charges little to no fee's just like Ecrater.
