Sending Confirmation Emails via Shipstation to Customers
 
Hi

Recently usps sent me back a ton of packages due to incorrect shipping weight (I was off by 1 -2 ounces :/ ) and after reprinting and voiding the old labels, I'd like to send messages to all the buyers that I'm sorry for the delay and their packages are now on their way. Shipstations provides a service that would enable me to do this via confirmation emails but I'm not sure if it will link my accounts.

Any suggestions :smash:

They won't let you void them, they've been used.

Don't reprint them, just add enough regular postage stamps next to the labels to get the postage to the correct price.

Each ounce is $.21 if I recall correctly, just go to the automated kiosk and get however many it takes to bring things up to snuff and re-mail them.

Just go to the EB account and email them from there.

I once got about 50 pieces back in a bin, nobody could even tell me why they'd been returned, the weight was correct, sent them back out and they all arrived just fine but it added about a week to the travel time. :(

Somebody was just having a bad day, I suppose, down at the Bulk Mail Center.

They're getting really vicious about the weight on packages though, you don't want them to flag you in their system, so be sure the weight is correct in the future. :)
